How do I setup an account with Order Desk?

Through6 does not have a sign-up process to create an Order Desk account, and you will need to do that directly via the Order Desk sign-up process. Order Desk is a *pay-to-use service, so be sure you're familiar with their pricing model before moving forward.

How do I setup an account with Through6? 

If you do not already have an account with Through6, you simply need to apply for an account and an account specialist will review and process your request within 48 hours.

How do I configure the integration between Order Desk and Through6? 

Order Desk has published an in-depth article on how to setup and manage your integration with Through6. However, you will need to procure secure account credentials from Through6 that Order Desk will ask for the connect the accounts via their interface.

How do I connect my eCommerce store to Order Desk? 

Every platform will have different integration steps, and you will want to learn more about their specifics directly via the well documented Order Desk site. To access some pages, you may first be required to setup an account with Order Desk.

How do I send orders from Order Desk to Through6?

Once you've successfully established a connection between eCommerce Platform -> Order Desk -> Through6, you will be able to use Order Desk to define rules and systems for which orders to send to Through6. 

Do I need to first create products on the Through6 Portal or can I just send any order details?

At a minimum, Order Desk requires you to send Through6 a SKU for each item in your order, and this SKU must match the Through6 SKU structure for our system to understand the desired product.

The best and most secure way to establish this SKU is to first create the product you'd like to sell on the Through6 Portal, which will generate the exact SKU we expect to be able to produce the intended product without issue. The SKUs will be provided on the final step of the process, and retrieved again via the Product View page in your My Products list.

This SKU communicates all necessary details from the specific style, size, design file (uploaded during product creation) and even trim variants if applicable.

If you send an order with a SKU our system cannot interpret, due to an unknown structure or a SKU that has not yet been created in our system, your order will likely fail to be produced and we will need to work with you to correct the details after the fact, which can slow the production timing and cause undue friction with your end customer.

How will I know the integration worked?

Once you finalize the instructed setup, publish your first Through6 product to your storefront with all appropriate details, we encourage you to submit a test order  to confirm. If the test is successful, you should see an order appear on your Through6 Dashboard within 30-60 minutes with the correct product and shipping details. 

How will I know when my order is finished?

Once an order is complete and shipped via one of our production facilities, we will communicate a status an tracking number back to Order Desk. Provided your eComm platform and Order Desk automatically support fulfillment updates, your customer should be alerted to the status with details.

However, we encourage you to evaluate your platform features relative to Order Desk during setup and contact their support team with any questions relative to the unique connection.
