How to resolve "Missing Art File" error
If your artwork has not been uploaded correctly on a product, that product will be pushed into a Missing Art queue when ordered. You can access this queue by clicking “Missing Art” on your Through6 Portal.
You will receive an email notification any time you have a product that is pushed into Missing Art.
Please follow the instructions below to resolve this error. Note: if you re-upload the art file in your product view, it will not push your order back into production.
1) LOG IN TO YOUR THROUGH6 THROUGH6 PORTAL
2) NAVIGATE TO YOUR MISSING ART PAGE
Note: These instructions are for non-auto panel enabled styles. If the files you are uploading the Missing Art for are auto-panel enabled styles, you first need to upload the correct base file to the product (on your products page) before uploading it to the Missing Art page.
Once you have landed on your “Missing Art” page, you will see all items that are missing design files. Find the order you need to update and click “Upload File”.
To correct your art file, please check that you have followed all instructions for preparing, exporting and uploading your design files:
- Steps 4 & 5 for sublimation products (auto panel styles)
- Steps 4, 5 & 6 for sublimation products (other styles)
- Step 3 for DTG products
Once you have corrected the art file you can simply drag and drop the file into the dialogue box (shown below) to re-upload.
You’ll see a progress bar as your file uploads. Do not close the page.
You will be able to tell when your file has uploaded, because the applicable size will be highlighted in green and your file name will be listed under “Files Added”.
Click “Complete”.
Your order will now be updated and automatically pushed back into production. Your new artwork will automatically update on your product for the applicable size, so you only need to do this once. Please follow the instructions in step 3 for any remaining sizes.
3) IF YOU HAVE OTHER SIZES, RE-UPLOAD THE DESIGN FILES FOR EACH ONE USING YOUR PRODUCT VIEW
If you have other sizes enabled for this product, you will need to re-upload the design files for the remaining sizes. If you do not have other sizes enabled, no further action is required.
To re-upload design files for the remaining sizes, navigate to the “Products” page on your Through6 Portal.
Click “View”, next to the product you need to update.
Click “REUPLOAD”.
From here, you can simply drag and drop your corrected design files for each size, or click “browse files…” to manually upload.
Once uploaded, your files will show under “Files Added” and the sizes that have uploaded correctly will be marked green.
Click “Next” to complete the process, and that’s it! You’re all done.
