How do I change the shipping address of an order?

There a plenty of reasons why you may need to change the destination for one of your orders, which may require different steps based on your account settings or order progress, as listed below.

eCommerce Orders

If you're connected with Through6 via one of our eCommerce integrations (Shopify or WooCommerce currently), in most cases you will only need to edit the shipping address in Shopify or WooCommerce admin portals to make the change. When the items on the order complete production we will take the new address for the shipping labels.

Please Note: This is only the case if all items on the order are still in production (meaning nothing has left the sewing station yet). You can confirm this by logging into the Through6 Client Portal, entering the order number in the top right search field, and verifying location of all the items on the order. 

If any items have proceeded beyond sewing and are currently in Finishing, Ready To Ship or Shipping - your shipping labels have already been created with the original address and must be manually changed with the fulfillment team. Please email [email protected] for support with this change.

Manual Orders

Placing a manual order via the Through6 Portal or via CSV Upload will require that you edit the shipping directly within the portal. This is a simple process of searching for the order number in the top right input field of the portal, and clicking the Edit Shipping button.

  • In the Dashboard on the Through6 Portal, find your order and click Manage

  • On the right side, click on the three dots to pull up order editing options

  • Select Edit Shipping

  • A pop-up will appear with the current Shipping Address for the order

  • Update the Shipping Address

  • Click Save Changes to update the Shipping Address on your order

Custom Integrations

If you are integration with a custom fulfillment engine or order processor, you will need to make changes within the admin system relative to your unique process. In these cases, we will print a label when all orders are checked into the Shipping station, and your edits should be available until that time.
